welcome
Welcome to Evelyn Elizabeth, where your home gets to be anything but ordinary.
We believe the most memorable spaces are infused with the power of personality: built from the things you love, the places you’ve been, the treasures you’ve collected, and the stories that make a house yours.
Whether your style is colorful and collected, delightfully unexpected, or somewhere in between, we’re here to turn those ideas, curiosities, and deepest design desires into a home that feels wonderfully, unmistakably you.
Based in Bergen County, New Jersey, Evelyn Elizabeth Design is a full-service interior design studio creating spaces that are both functional and visually compelling for clients throughout the greater New York City and tristate area, nationwide, and in Lara’s hometown of Toronto, Canada.

Meet the designer
lara evelyn
Great design happens when we lean into, and celebrate, our wonderfully weird and whimsical quirks.
Known for interpreting traditional and nostalgic elements in fresh, contemporary ways, Lara especially loves designing a space around a treasured antique, a family heirloom or a favorite piece a client already owns.
She took my bits and pieces of ideas and transformed my boring & crowded space into a masterpiece! It is the most magical room in my house… I am never touching another room in my house without calling her first.
let’s create something beautiful
